What is actually happening
The printer sees the full PDF sheet, not just the visible shipping label.
Selecting Fit can scale the whole sheet into 4×6 media.
Changing paper size alone does not remove the unused page area.
A screenshot may look larger but can reduce barcode quality.
From source PDF to a print-ready label
Open the original PDF
Use the download from the marketplace or carrier instead of a screenshot.
Crop to the printed label
Keep the entire FedEx border and barcode quiet area inside the selection.
Export and print at 100%
Choose your label stock, then print the corrected PDF at Actual size.
Questions before you print
Why is my FedEx label only one-quarter size?
The label content is likely one quadrant of a larger PDF page, so fitting the full page to 4×6 shrinks the label.
Should I increase print scale to 200%?
Manual scaling is inconsistent and may clip content. Cropping the PDF to the actual label is safer.
