PDF processing
LabelCheckup processes the PDF you choose inside your web browser. The PDF, rendered label, recipient address, tracking number and decoded barcode value are not uploaded to our server. Closing or refreshing the page removes the active document from the tool.
Website requests and server logs
Like most web servers, our hosting provider may record technical request data such as IP address, requested URL, browser user agent, response status and timestamp for security and reliability. These logs do not contain your local PDF.
Cookies and analytics
We use a self-hosted Umami installation to understand anonymous website use. It does not set analytics cookies or build advertising profiles. We measure page views, referrers, general device and country information, and fixed product events such as whether a PDF was selected, checked or downloaded. When you select a file, analytics receives its file name, SHA-256 fingerprint, byte size, MIME type and exact page count so we can distinguish repeat files and understand multi-page use. The fingerprint can recognize the same file but cannot be used to download it. Analytics never receives the PDF content, recipient address, tracking number, decoded barcode value or form message. The label tool does not require an account.
Optional product feedback
After a download, you may choose to send a result, marketplace category, approximate weekly label volume and, only with permission to contact you, an email address. We also receive the page path, output size, DPI and preflight status. Feedback does not include your PDF content, address or barcode. Contact email is removed after 90 days and feedback is removed after one year. A one-way network identifier is retained for up to 24 hours to prevent abuse. Your browser remembers only whether the prompt was submitted or recently dismissed, so it does not repeatedly interrupt you.
Support email
If you email support, we receive the information you choose to send and use it to answer the request. Do not send unredacted shipping labels or other people’s personal data.
